Ben came to study law at Tel Aviv University after already completing a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Sociology, motivated by a sober perspective and a desire to help oppressed and marginalized populations in Israel.
After his first semester of law school, Ben joined the office of Attorney David Bar-Hava, which specialized in representing African refugees before the Labor Court. Within a short time, Ben became the office manager, responsible for three students and two attorneys in the daily running of the office. During Ben’s time there, the firm’s activity expanded significantly, handling hundreds of active cases at any given time.
Alongside managing the law office, which dealt with labor law, Ben also joined the Criminal Procedure Rights Clinic at Tel Aviv University, where he assisted in representing disadvantaged populations in criminal cases and began to gain experience in criminal law.
Toward the end of his legal studies, Ben was accepted for a pre-internship and internship with Attorney Avigdor Feldman. He quickly integrated into Feldman’s demanding law office, and for several months was even the sole employee there. After successfully passing the bar exams, Ben returned to Feldman’s office as a licensed attorney, continuing to work across the diverse fields handled by the firm, with a focus on criminal and administrative law. In this role, Ben participated in some of the most high-profile cases in the country—ranging from petitions against the deportation of African refugees, to complex murder trials, to cases involving organized crime and terrorist organizations.
After completing his work with Attorney Feldman, Ben opened his own private practice, where he now offers services in a variety of areas, from criminal and administrative law to labor law and other civil matters.
